BEFORE YOU BEGIN

What you need for a secure connection

Use an account that can access your store admin and create separate credentials only for this analysis. Never share your personal password.

Least-privilege access

Optimisium reads only the data required for product, order and repeat-purchase analysis. It does not request permission to change products, prices, orders or ads.

METHOD 1 · RECOMMENDED

Create the API connection

This method automates data transfer and reduces the risk of missing columns.

  1. 1

In WordPress, open Users → Profile → Application Passwords.

  2. 2

Create a new application password named Optimisium Read Only.

  3. 3

Copy the username and the one-time application password.

  4. 4

Confirm that this user can read WooCommerce product and order REST endpoints.

If you prefer not to provide an API connection, you can run the same analysis with a compatible order file.

  1. 1

Open WooCommerce → Analytics → Orders in WordPress.

  2. 2

    Select the last 90 days.

  3. 3

Download a CSV export that includes product line items.

  4. 4

Keep customer ID or email, date, product, quantity, total and currency.
